Milk Fed Chicken DotCom: Welcome:

Duane Bemister We have milk fed chicken for sale. The birds live in our green house under the raised beds that are filled with aerobic compost which supplies all the nutrients for the beyond "organic" produce we grow to feed the chickens who in turn provide the manure we use to make the compost! They are finished with wheat and whole milk just like they used to do it down on the farm. These birds are guaranteed to be the healthiest and best tasting chickens that you have ever eaten! My first two batchs are now SOLD OUT! The next pickup date for fresh birds this year will be Friday August 6th. I will only have 60 fresh birds. The chickens are processed at a licensed poultry plant in Pritchard. I pick them up there at about 1:00 in the afternoon. I have some buyers from Kamloops that I meet at the Pritchard store at 2:00 and then I return to Sorrento with the remaining birds. If you want them fresh you will need to come here to Sorrento or to Pritchard on the day that I pick them up. They sell on a first come first serve basis although you can pre order and I will reserve as many as you require. The fresh birds will weight 4.5 to 10 pounds each and I am selling them for $3.50 a pound.
