We have milk fed chicken for sale. The birds live in our green house under the raised beds that are filled with aerobic compost which supplies all the nutrients for the beyond "organic" produce we grow to feed the chickens who in turn provide the manure we use to make the compost!
They are finished with grain and whole milk just like they used to do it down on the farm. These birds are guaranteed to be the most nutritious and best tasting chickens that you have ever eaten!
The chickens are processed at a licensed poultry plant in Pritchard. They sell on a first come first serve basis although you can pre order and I will reserve as many as you require. I only have 12 birds remaining from my last batch (September 2nd)! The remaining birds weight from 6 to 7.5 pounds and cost ($21.00 to $25.00) at $3.50 a pound.
